September Rewards Cards

Hello My Dear Stamping Friends,

We finally have the September rewards cards posted for you to see.  I apologize for their being so late.

I think I told you that I was going to be in Iowa for a cousins’ reunion.  My reunion took a few unexpected turns—I ended up having surgery for a 7mm kidney stone.

I don’t have all of the directions completed, but I don’t think you’ll need them.  If you do, please text or email me and I’ll send you what I have.  I will say that the Christmas bell has Wink of Stella on it.

If you’d like to place an order, please visit Shop Now, Shop Here.  My host code for October is 9PKQJMFC.

I’ll try to send more details as I feel better.

Many hugs to each of you, Pat

Let’s Set Sail Boat Card

Original by Cindy Coutts

The white card stock is already embossed for you, but you can stamp right over the embossing (we did).

To create the boat pieces, use the Blending Brushes to add color to your piece of designer paper.  If I were doing if again, I’d add more Parakeet Party and a little less of Starry Sky as it’s really dark.

There are dimensionals under the two sails and also the white greeting piece.

When you stamp the boat on the envelope and inside, your sails will be on the opposite sides from the one you punched.

Supplies used include:

Grassy Grove Wolf Card

Inspired by Linda Middleton

Stamp the wolf on to the Smoky Slate card stock using Basic Gray ink.  Fussy cut him out cutting the rock straight down instead of cutting it precisely.  (Just ask me.)

Lay the card together to determine exactly where you want the wolf to be.  Attach him to the moon after deciding.  Most of the rock will be placed under the die cut trees.

You can use snail to attach the wolf and moon

You can apply snail to the edges of the die cut piece, but you’ll need to add tiny dots of glue to a few of the leaves/trees.

Supplies used include:

Sending Smiles Note Card

Hello My Dear Stamping Friends,

I want to share this adorable card with you.  I offered it as a bonus card at our Bingo event.

It uses one of my favorite bundles from the current catalog (not the mini). It’s so simple and so bright and cheery.  It’s one of those bundles that I think everybody should own.

The card came to me as a note card and that’s what I had in the basket for attendees to make, but it would make an adorable full size card also.

If you’d like to place an order, please click on Shop Now, Shop Here and use my host code: MQ9MRGA3.  Sale-a-Bration is in full swing and you’ll get to choose a FREE gift from the Sale-a-Bration brochure for every $50 you order (before tax & shipping).  Also, when you place a $50+ order during July, I’ll send you a packet with four card kits in it.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  Many hugs, Pat

On the Horizons Card

There are two samples in the tub.  The first one I did has the birds upside down, but I do like the fence placement on that one better than the second one I did.  The second one does have the birds correctly placed.  On the first one, I didn’t think I had the Mountain Air set, so I used the die and inked it up to make the mountains.  I like the larger mountains much better.

I stamped the mountains and the trees on to the designer paper, using only an edge of the mountains.  The birds are stamped in Misty Moonlight on one card and Memento on the other—your choice.  I attached the fence pieces with green glue.

This paper is amazing and I think you’ll want to own at least one package of it.  I believe it’s still available.

Let’s Set Sail Card

The designer paper does the work here.  The only things I stamped on the dsp are the birds & the greeting.  I did add some Pool Party ink to the bottom part of the dsp, just for the fun of it—it looks great without but more fun with.

I had trouble when I was trying to stamp the little sailboat on the envelope and on the inside so I switched to the realistic sail boat.  All of the stamps for both are in the tub.

There are dimensionals under the sails of the sailboat and glue under the sailboat base.

Dahlia Days Shaded Spruce Card

Inspired by Kathryn Eschler

This card is all stamping, and all of the flowers are stamped with the Blackberry Bliss pad.  You’ll need to stamp off a time or two before you actually put it on your card.  If you notice the flower in the bottom right corner, you’ll see that it’s off the edge.  Then, if you look at the flower in the upper right corner, you’ll notice that the edge of the flower is darker.  That’s because it was used right after the bottom right corner was stamped—stamping full strength on that upper right corner.  Be sure to reink and stamp off.  You can practice on your mat.

There are no dimensionals on the card.

Dahlia Days bundle, 157802, mini 35

Wildflower Path Mint Macaron Card

Original by Mary Knabe

The ribbon is wrapped around the white layer and the designer paper.

When stamping the grass, please be aware that the grass does not go all the way down on the stamp.

Stamp the grass and the stems.  When stamping the Melon Mambo flowers, you’ll stamp off for the bottom layer.  When stamping the top layer, be sure to wipe the excess ink off from the rubber as it tends to catch the polymer which attaches the flowers together.

Everything else is just as it looks.
