Sweet Songbirds Card

Original by Erica Cerwin

Stamp the bird near an edge of the smaller square piece of white card stock.  Punch her out before you try to stamp and punch the wing.  It’s a little tricky getting the wing into the punch the correct way.  You can stamp it after you punch it if that’s easier. There are dimensionals under the bird and again under her wing.

On the Horizons Card

There are two samples in the tub.  The first one I did has the birds upside down, but I do like the fence placement on that one better than the second one I did.  The second one does have the birds correctly placed.  On the first one, I didn’t think I had the Mountain Air set, so I used the die and inked it up to make the mountains.  I like the larger mountains much better.

I stamped the mountains and the trees on to the designer paper, using only an edge of the mountains.  The birds are stamped in Misty Moonlight on one card and Memento on the other—your choice.  I attached the fence pieces with green glue.

This paper is amazing and I think you’ll want to own at least one package of it.  I believe it’s still available.

Let’s Set Sail Card

The designer paper does the work here.  The only things I stamped on the dsp are the birds & the greeting.  I did add some Pool Party ink to the bottom part of the dsp, just for the fun of it—it looks great without but more fun with.

I had trouble when I was trying to stamp the little sailboat on the envelope and on the inside so I switched to the realistic sail boat.  All of the stamps for both are in the tub.

There are dimensionals under the sails of the sailboat and glue under the sailboat base.

Dahlia Days Shaded Spruce Card

Inspired by Kathryn Eschler

This card is all stamping, and all of the flowers are stamped with the Blackberry Bliss pad.  You’ll need to stamp off a time or two before you actually put it on your card.  If you notice the flower in the bottom right corner, you’ll see that it’s off the edge.  Then, if you look at the flower in the upper right corner, you’ll notice that the edge of the flower is darker.  That’s because it was used right after the bottom right corner was stamped—stamping full strength on that upper right corner.  Be sure to reink and stamp off.  You can practice on your mat.

There are no dimensionals on the card.

Supplies used include:

Dahlia Days bundle, 157802, mini 35

Wildflower Path Mint Macaron Card

Original by Mary Knabe

The ribbon is wrapped around the white layer and the designer paper.

When stamping the grass, please be aware that the grass does not go all the way down on the stamp.

Stamp the grass and the stems.  When stamping the Melon Mambo flowers, you’ll stamp off for the bottom layer.  When stamping the top layer, be sure to wipe the excess ink off from the rubber as it tends to catch the polymer which attaches the flowers together.

Everything else is just as it looks.

Honeybee Home Daffodil Card

Stamp the Daffodil shapes twice on to your white card stock.  Please let us know if the pad needs to be reinked.  Let it dry for a minute and then stamp your greeting.  Lay your hexagons on the piece to kind of determine the placement.  Glue the flower dies down as you go. You can attach the hexagons with glue or tape runner.

Color the yellow flowers with Lt & Dk Daffodil Blends.
