Chocolate Christmas Gifts

Hello My Dear Stamping Friends,

I’m so excited to share a couple of cards with you and also a couple of Ghirardelli chocolate presentation ideas with you.  Scroll to the bottom to see them.

Stampin’ Up! has announced some amazing sales.  One sale flyer lists several stamp sets at a 15% discount.  Also on that flyer, Fast Fuse (adhesive runner) is shown and it’s at a fabulous price: buy one Fast Fuse for $10 and get 2 refills FREE!  This sale lasts only through October 10 for World Card Making Day.

The other flyer lists 13 packages of Designer Series paper that are Buy 3, Get one FREE.  The papers this year are so beautiful.  You may choose the most expensive one as your FREE package. (Only the papers that are listed on the flyer are included in this sale.)  The paper listed is from both the regular catalog and the Occasions catalog.  This sale lasts for the month of October.

If you want to order any of these sale items or anything else, please use the host code:  KJAQC4N3.   If you place an order that is $150 or more, please don’t use the host code as you’ll then receive the host rewards yourself.  If you place an online order this month of at least $35, I’ll send you a blender pen.  If you place a $75 order online, I’ll send you a package of the new black rhinestones. These offers can’t be combined.

To see the items that are included in the sales, please go to www.stampinlady.com and click on Shop Now.  Then on the upper left corner, you’ll see World Card Making and Designer Paper sale.  Click on any of those and it will take you to the sale.

Please check out these sales as I don’t think you’ll want to miss them.

Stampin’ Up! is also offering two special Paper Pumpkin monthly kits.  For the months of October and November, the kits will coordinate.  They are Christmas related, but SU always surprises us with what’s actually in the boxes.

If you’d like to check out or subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, please once again go to www.stampinlady.com, click on Shop Now, and scroll down to Paper Pumpkin on the left.  If you decide to subscribe, please use my name.  You must subscribe or purchase before October 10 in order to receive the October kit (which coordinates with the November kit).

The first thing I want to show you is an acetate box (which of course we sell) filled with Ghirardelli chocolates wrapped in Year of Cheer specialty designer paper.  Patty Bennett created both of these chocolate ideas and shared them with the rest of us.  I made a set to display.

Supplies used:

Acetate Card Boxes, Occasions p. 13, 144628, 10 boxes $6.50.

Cheers to the Year stamp set, Occasions p. 37, wood 144295, $25; clear mount 144928 $18.

Cajun Craze stamp pad, reg. p.185, 126965, $6.50.

Year of Cheer designer paper, Occasions p. 37, 144640, $13.

            2” x 5”, 6 each for wrapping Ghirardelli chocolates

            Banners 3 x 1 ½”, 3 each

Silver foil paper, reg. p. 194, 132178, $4.

            12” x 1 ½” for belly band

Whisper White card stock, reg. p. 194, 100730, $9.

            3 x 3” for cutting circle

Foil Snowflakes, Occasions p. 37,  144642, $6.

Winter Wonder embossing folder, Occasions p. 37, 144686, $7.50.

Big Shot, reg. p. 209, 143263, $110.

Stitched Framelits for circle, reg. p. 214, 145372, $30.

Metal Rimmed Pearls, reg. p. 197, 138394, $5. (I used 5)

Year of Cheer Embellishments, Occasions p. 37, 144643, $8.

Linen thread to tie embellishment on, reg. p. 199, 104199, $4.50.

Mini Tinsel Trim, Occasions p. 21, 144636, $9.

Glue Dots, reg. p. 202, 103683, $5.25.

Dimensionals, reg. p. 203, 104430, $4.

I used glue dots to hold the designer paper after I wrapped it around the Ghirardelli chocolates and dimensionals to give depth to the Joy circle.

For the Ghirardelli chocolates that are stacked together, I used the same supplies as above as well as the 3/8” Silver Metallic-Edge ribbon, reg. p. 199, 144213, $7.

I held the wrapped chocolates together with glue dots and linen thread, and then wrapped the ribbon around that.

Thank you so much!  Please let me know if you have any questions.  You may text or call me on my cell at 303-888-1862 or call me at home at 303-674-6435.  I’m always ready to help.

Hugs to each of you, Pat
