Standing Trees Card

Original by Terri Gaines

Note:  The bottom photo shows the inside of the card with the card laying on a piece of white paper.

This card look very complicated, but it’s actually easy.

I’d suggest that you lay the card together as explained below before you actually start adhering it.

The card base is not a folded base but a flat piece of Mossy Meadow card stock, which is cut to 5 ½ x 4 ¼.

Place the designer paper 1/8” from the top, centering it so that each side has approximately 1/8” of Mossy Meadow showing.

You have an 11” piece of Mossy Meadow that is a couple of inches wide.  Attach the “back” half of the folded strip to your card base, lining it up with the bottom of the card.

Attach the trees to the front of that piece.  Glue works well, but don’t add adhesive very far up on the trees or your card won’t open.

Attach the smaller strip of designer paper over the top of the trees, covering the base of the trees.

Banner one end of the small white card stock for your greeting.

The two pieces of white go on the inside of the card as shown in the second picture.

Supplies used include:

Inspired Thoughts bundle, 52
Mossy Meadow card stock, 122
5 ½ x 4 ¼
11 x 2
Early Expresso card stock, 122
4 ¼ x 5 ½
Basic White card stock, 123
Beauty of the Earth designer paper, 130
Base 5 1/4 x 3
Hill 5 ½ x 1 ½
Flap 6 x 2 3/8

Blackberry Beauty Butterfly Card (light colored)

Original by Christi Rearden Redding

This card uses one of the more neutral sheets from the beautiful Blackberry Beauty designer paper.

I love this card, but it isn’t too easy to cut the butterflies from the Be Dazzling paper.  It would also look good with foil paper for them.  When cutting the butterflies from the Be Dazzling paper, strip the backing off from the paper before cutting.

The butterflies are attached with glue dots

The line thread is wrapped around and tied into a bow as I imagine you can see.

The greeting is attached with dimensionals.

Supplies used include:

Beauty of Friendship bundle, 11
Beauty of Tomorrow, mini 45
Early Espresso card stock, 122
8 ½ x 5 ½
3 ½ x ¾
Basic White card stock, 123
5 ¼ x 4
Blackberry Beauty designer paper, mini 45
5 ¼ x 4
Label cut from the unprinted portion
Be Dazzling paper, SAB 3
About ¼ sheet
Early Espresso pad, 122
Diamonds, 142
Linen Thread, 140
Dimensionals, 167
Snow Time dies, mini 21
Brilliant Wings dies, 106

 Floral Squares Flower Card

 Original by Kim Vogel

2 ¼ x 2 1/4

BOGO Sneak Peek 2 with Dates

Hello Stamping Friends,

Here’s the second sneak peek card for BOGO.

The BOGO event will be held August 20th & 21st.  There will be four sessions over the two days. The hours for the two sessions will be 9:00 a.m. until noon and 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. each day.

I’d like to limit these sessions to six attendees each so that we’ll all feel pretty safe.  You’re more than welcome to wear masks if you want to.  You may gather five of your friends if you all want to come the same day at the same time.  With the two 3-hour sessions each day, I can have 12 attendees each day.

Since we still have to deal with Covid, I’m going to open it on Thursday, August 19th & Sunday, August 22nd for private appointments. I won’t have the stamping table set up for these private appointments, but I’ll send you home with a packet of the projects.  In most cases, the only things that will be needed to be stamped by you at home are the sentiments.  I anticipate that these private appointments will be 1-2  hours—however much time you think you’ll need.

I’m so hoping that you can make it.  We finished pricing and sorting the stamp sets yesterday—there are some real bargains to be had.  I think we have 3, maybe 4, tubs of items priced at $3.  We have $1, $2, $4 , and $5 tubs as well as the $3 tubs. We also have a couple of FREE tubs.

The way BOGO works is that you choose the retired items that you want and I’ll figure that total for you (prices are very, very reduced) and then you’ll place an online order for that amount.  Tax and shipping will be added to your order as usual and the ordered items will ship directly to you.  The retired items will then be yours for FREE.  You won’t pay tax or shipping on the retired items—only the amount listed on that item. It sounds too good to be true, but it actually works out very well for both of us.

If you’re out of town or unable to attend, we can do this by phone or text.  You can tell me things you’re looking for and I’ll see if I have them (my inventory is extensive).  I’m happy to look through everything for you and ship it to you.  I can also take a picture or pictures and send them to you.

If you’d like to place an order now, visit www.stampinlady.com and click on Shop Now, Shop Here.  Please use my host code:  WZZHP2RQ unless you’re placing a club order or if your order is not a club order and is over $150.

If your order is over $50, I’ll send you a packet with four card kits in it.  So, if you attend BOGO or place a BOGO order, you’ll receive the four BOGO cards as well as the $50 packet of four card kits when your order is over $50.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help.  Call or text:  303-888-1862.

Thank you so much; I appreciate you every day.

Many hugs, Pat

Three Easy Cards

Hello My Dear Stamping Friends,

Stampin’ Up!’s designer paper sale is ending in just a couple of days:  it ends on August 2nd.  Don’t miss out—it’s a great deal.  A lot of them are reduced to $9.78 from $11.50.  Visit www.stampinlady.com and click on Shop Now, Shop Here and you’ll see the paper scrolling across the screen.

If you’d like to place an order, please use host code: WZZHP2RQ.  If your order is over $50, I’ll send you a packet with four card kits in it.  If your order is over $150, don’t use the host code so that you can claim the host rewards for yourself.

I want to share with you these three easy cards that I made.

Daughter Judy asked me to create a stamping station at a couple’s bridal shower; the men had a fly tying station.  I wanted to come up with a really easy card as I knew most of the attendees had never stamped.  (I even had some guys make a card.)

Anyway, here are the cards:

The measurements for each card are:

Card base:  8 ½ x 5 ½
Layer under the designer paper: 5 ½ x 3 ½
Designer paper: 3 x 5 ½; 6 x 2 3/8 for flap
White card stock for inside card:  5 ¼ x 4
Shimmery white card stock for greeting:  scrap or less than 2 x 4

Two of the cards use Expressions in Ink specialty designer paper, which may be the most beautiful designer paper I’ve ever seen.  It is unavailable to order until next week (the week of August 2nd) when it’s schedule to be back in stock.  Sale-a-Bration starts on August 3rd so it will be a good time to order it.  I would order it the day it becomes available as it is SO popular.  I’ll try to keep an eye out and let you know when it’s back in stock.  (155464, $15)

The two cards that use the Expressions in Ink dsp each have a layer of gold foil as the second layer.  The Shaded Spruce card uses the green designer paper and the Polished Pink/Magenta Madness card uses the pink designer paper.

The Hydrangea designer paper used Highland Heather as its base and Granny Apple Green for the second layer.  Unfortunately, the Hydrangea paper is now retired, but you can make these cards with any designer paper.

This is such a classic layout; you can use it for any occasion.

Please let me know if I can help in any way or if you have any questions.  Call or text me at 303-888-1862.

Many hugs, Pat

Jim’s Birthday Card

Hello My Friends,

How are you doing?  We’re doing fine.

We’re actually camping near Salina, Kansas, where Jim will attend a car show tomorrow and over the weekend.  We’re near Lake Kanopolis—not at that campground but one nearby.

I wanted to share with you the card that I made Jim for his birthday on Monday.  He has an International Harvester truck and an International Harvester tractor.  I saw a card that Angie Liner had made with the logo and I knew Jim would love it.

I used the Hats Off bundle (15836, p. 47), and the Playful Alphabet dies (152706, p. 165). Apparently I used a retired Happy Birthday, but the one in Pansy Petals looks very much like it (154999, p. 29).  I think it’s so cute and Jim does, too.

If you’d like to place an order, visit www.stampinlady.com and click on Shop Now, Shop Here.  When you use my host code and your order is $50+, I’ll send you a set of four card kits.  My host code is:  QAGK4VMX.

Have you received your new mini catalog and Sale-a-Bration brochure?  Since I’m not at home, I don’t know if I’ve received the one I sent myself.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help in any way.  Call or text: 303-888-1862.  (We don’t have a very good signal here so it might take me awhile to get back to you.  I tried making a call out and it didn’t go through, but my sister called me this morning and it came through.  You can also email me at pat@stampinlady.com.)

Happy Stamping & Thank You, Pat

July Rewards Cards

Hello My Dear Stamping Friends,

I hope you enjoy the July rewards cards.  I love them, as always.

If you’d like to place an order, it isn’t too late to receive your own packet of four card kits.  I mailed some of them out this morning.

If you would like to place an order and if it isn’t over $150 or a club order, please use my July host code:  QAGK4VMX. To place an order, visit www.stampinlady.com and click on Shop Now Shop Here.

If you’d like to take a look at the new kit program, click on Shop Now, Shop Here, click on the three little lines in the upper left corner, click on Shop Products, Kits Collection, Card Kits and you’ll be able to see them.  They’re adorable; two of our granddaughters and I made five of the kits up while we were camping in Dillon and we had a great time doing them.  They’d also make great gifts.

Please let me know if you have any questions; call or text 303-888-1862.

Thank you so much!  Have a great day!

Expressions in Ink Shaded Spruce Card

The white flower die cut shows stamped flowers, which we couldn’t do for you.  You can leave them white or stamp them with a small flower if you don’t have the Artistically Inked bundle or suite.

The gold leaves that I sent you are all in one piece; you can cut them apart if you want to or use them as they are.  The leaves on the sample are from the Expressions in Ink ephemera pack listed below.
