Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick Bundles — Limited Time Only

Stampin’ Up! is giving a us a treat beginning February 2nd.

Do you remember the Hey Chick stamp set that was available as a Sale-a-Bration gift in 2017?  Everybody loved it then and now it’s back—but so much better.   There’s now a set of dies available only during this promotion.  So, you can either order just the dies or if you don’t have the stamp set, you can order the entire bundle.  See the details below.

And, there’s more.  There’s now a second bundle available—meet Hey Birthday Chick.  It’s available as a bundle or the stamp set and dies can be purchased separately.

I’ve created a card for you.  I’d love to give credit to the person who inspired me, but I cannot figure it out.

These are adorable; I’m an Iowa farm girl and never thought I’d see dies for a corn stalk and ears of corn.  The stamps and the dies are so unique.  Check them out.

Here’s my February host code:  TRQANZ4C.  Please use it unless you’re placing a club order or unless your order is over $150 and not a club order, in which case you may claim the host benefits for yourself.

Here are the pictures and the details:

Here’s the card I created.  I think it’s so cute and the “hair” reminds me of myself some days.

Hey Chick & Hey Birthday Chick Bundles Card

This card is so much fun and everything is cut out with the dies—even the corn!

The first thing I did was cut an oval out of the center of the designer paper.  The designer paper is cut at 5 ¼ x 4; I cut a smaller piece of white card stock 5 x 3 ¾ to attach to the back of the dsp.  Be sure to glue just around the edges of the white before attaching it as you’ll need to slip a few items into the oval and under the dsp.

I colored the chicken with Blends as listed below—I don’t think you could make a mistake.  After you color it, cut it out using the die.

I first put the corn stalk down using green glue and then added the ears of corn. I put the ear of corn into its little husk using glue dots and then I used more glue dots to attach them to the stalk.

I used dimensionals behind the sign itself and just glue to tuck it into the oval.

Use dimensionals to attach the chicken.

I once again used green glue for attaching the “Happy Birthday”.  I think it would be cuter to have this greeting a little lower on the card.
